Made his Cup debut at the end of 2002 at Thruxton as the driver of the UK's first ever racing van, adding circuit racing experience to that which he had gained in karts when younger. During 2003 the Caddy became a familiar, but never less than surprising, sight at Volkswagen Racing Cup events. In 2004, Wyhinny gave the new Caddy its competition debut
