Started racing in 1992 in Porsche 924s. Took up Vento VR6 racing in 1998. 2000 Tomcat Vento Challenge Champion. Half a season of Volkswagen Racing Cup action in 2001; best race result 5th, at Cadwell Park. Finished 2002 season fourth overall in Class A in his Vento. Switched to Bora power for 2003, finishing second in the penultimate round after leading. Eleventh overall in the 2004 Racing Cup; second at Donington Park and third at Snetterton
