Started in autograss in 1988. Returned to racing in 99 after an eight-year break to contest the 750MC Stock Hatch championship. Stepped up to Volkswagen Racing Cup in 2001 with a Class B Golf GTI. Finished 12th in Class A in 2002 with turbo Golf with a best race placing of seventh in class. In 2003 claimed 11th overall in championship with a best race placing of fifth. Upped the pace in 2004 to claim podium finishes at Croft and Snetterton and fourth in championship
